Road Trip to the Past - Huck Finn Fishing

The Colorado Cowgirl fishing from a pier at a Michigan lake in the summertime back in the day.  My father took this black-and-white, and I used my pocket camera to copy it.

Golden - Sweet Treats

The little cowgirls and I have been coming here for several years, and you cannot beat their great ice cream cones.

Their individually wrapped salt-water taffy is also a hit.  It is probably a sibling thing that says "Here's a gift for you when I got to go to that cool ice cream shop in Golden."

The shop is right on main street.  It has outdoor and indoor seating and friendly counter service.

They specialize in taste-before-you buy when kids at heart cannot make up their minds or want to venture into new-to-them flavors.

Louisville

Here's some of my shots from Saturday's trip to Louisville.  One of the shopkeepers said that Louisville is a fun place on warm weekend night.  During the day, we saw lots of outdoor dining spaces that would be perfect for a fun or romantic night with the sweetie.
